મારા સ્વપ્ન દર્શન
મારા સ્વપ્ન દર્શન - ચીરાગ પટેલ નવેમ્બર 02, 2008
મારા ઉપર લખ્યા તારીખ સુધીના આધ્યાત્મીક સ્વપ્નો વીશે આજે હું ઉલ્લેખ કરીશ. આ ગપ્પા નથી કે ભ્રમ નથી. અને આપને જો એવું લાગે તો મારી પાસે સચ્ચાઈ સાબીત કરવાના કોઈ પુરાવા પણ નથી. માત્ર અને માત્ર એક દસ્તાવેજ તરીકે આ લેખને જોશો તો પણ મને ગમશે.
1)
લગભગ મે, 2005માં એક રાત્રે હું થોડો થોડો જાગ્રત અવસ્થામાં આવ્યો. એકાએક. ત્યારબાદ, હું ગણપતીની વન્દના કરતાં શ્લોકોનું ઉચ્ચારણ કરવા લાગ્યો. આ બધાં શ્લોકો હું જે લય અને સ્પષ્ટતા સાથે અસ્ખલીત 5 મીનીટ સુધી બોલતો રહ્યો એ મને હજુ પણ નવાઈ પમાડે છે! સમ ખાવા પુરતો એક શબ્દ પણ મને સમજમાં આવ્યો હોય તો હરામ બરાબર.
આ શ્લોકોની ભાષા ઋગ્વેદની સંસ્કૃત ભાષા હોય એવું મને લાગે છે. કારણ કે, આ સ્વપ્ન બાદ મેં ઋગ્વેદના અમુક શ્લોકો વાંચવાની શરુઆત કરી, અને મને એ ભાષા મારી સ્વપ્નની ભાષાને મળતી આવતી લાગી.

મારા સ્વપ્નમાં એક યુવાન સન્યાસી દેખાયા. તેમણે ભગવા રંગનું વસ્ત્ર શરીરે વીંટાળ્યું હતું. તેમના બાજુબન્ધ અને મણીબન્ધ પર રુદ્રાક્ષની માળા વીંટેલી હતી. તેમના કપાળે નાથ સમ્પ્રદાયના સન્યાસીઓ જેવી આભા હતી અને મસ્તક પર રાખનું ત્રીપુંડ હતું. તેમના વાળ ખુબ જ કાળા હતા. તેમને મધ્યમ કદની દાઢી હતી. તેઓ એક પર્વત પરથી નીચે ઉતરી રહ્યાં હતાં. પરંતુ તેમનામાં એક વીચીત્રતા હતી. તેમણી કોઈ કારણસર માથુ પાછળ તરફ ઢળતું રાખેલું હતું, જાણે કે કાંઈક ગરદનની ઉપર ચઢતાં દબાવી રાખેલું હોય એમ!
થોડા સમયમાં યુવાન સન્યાસી અદ્રશ્ય થઈ ગયા અને એક સીંહાસન પર બેઠેલા વૃધ્ધ સન્યાસી દેખાયા. તેમણે મારી બાજુ જોયું અને એકદમ ખડખડાટ હસ્યા. થોડી વાર હસ્યા બાદ તેમણે ડાબી આંખ મીચકારી.

બીજા એક સ્વપ્નમાં મને એક મન્દીર દેખાયું. મન્દીરના ગર્ભગૃહમાં માની મુર્તી હતી. મુર્તીનું વર્ણન કરી શકું એટલી યાદ નથી રહી. મુર્તીની બન્ને બાજુ આછા વાદળી રંગનો પ્રકાશ હતો. મુર્તીની ઉપરની બાજુ ટ્યુબલાઈટ હતી. મુર્તીની આગળ તરફ પીત્તળની રેલીંગ હતી. વળી, પુરુષ અને સ્ત્રી અલગ અલગ દર્શન કરી શકે એ રીતે પણ મન્દીરની વચ્ચેથી પસાર થતી રેલીંગ હતી. માની મુર્તીને સરસ રીતે શણગારવામાં આવી હતી.
મારી જાણમાં આવું કોઈ મન્દીર નથી. કારણ મન્દીરનું વર્ણન ઘણાં મન્દીરોને મળતું આવી શકે છે, જ્યારે ‘મા’ની મુર્તી મેં જે જોઈ એવી કોઈ મન્દીરમાં જોઈ નથી. કદાચ, નાનપણમાં ટીવી પર જોઈ હોઈ શકે અને હું ભુલી ગયો હોઉં!

બીજા એક સ્વપ્નમાં ‘મા’ સાક્ષાત દેખાયા હતાં. તેમણે આછાં ગુલાબી રંગના વસ્ત્રો પહેર્યાં હતાં. એક હાથમાં ચક્ર અને બીજો હાથ આશીર્વાદ આપવા માટે વળેલો હતો. તેમણે મસ્તક પર ત્રણ ચક્રો હોય એવો મુગટ પહેર્યો હતો. તેમની આજુબાજુ ઘોર અન્ધકાર હતો. ‘મા’ ખુબ જ પ્રકાશીત હતાં.

કલકત્તામાં ગંગાનદી પર બનેલા સસ્પેંસન બ્રીજ જેવા પુલ પર એક સ્ત્રી જતી મને દેખાઈ. તેના મુખ પર પરેશાની અને વ્યાકુળતાના ભાવ હતાં. તેની સાથે બાજુમાં એક ઘોડો પણ જતો દેખાયો. ત્યારબાદ, તે સ્ત્રી લીલા રંગનાં વસ્ત્રોમાં શ્રીનાથજીના ગૌર સ્વરુપની પુજા કરતી દેખાઈ. તે સ્ત્રી જ્યાં રહેતી હતી એ હવેલી દેખાઈ. હવેલીને સીસમના બારી-બારણાં હતાં. દીવાલો પર સરસ મજાનાં ચીત્રો દોરેલા હતાં. શ્રીનાથજીની પુજા માટે ખાસ એક ઓરડો હતો. જુલાઈ 02, 2006.

જાન્યુઆરી 01, 2007. આજે ધ્યાનમાં ‘મા’નું સ્વરુપ સાક્ષાત દેખાયું. ‘મા’નો ચહેરો, તેમનાં શણગાર, તેમની સુવર્ણરજ સમાન ચમકીલી ત્વચા. અવર્ણનીય રુપ. હજુ આજ સુધી આવું દર્શન થયું નથી. ‘મા’નો જે ચહેરો દેખાયો હતો એનું વર્ણન કરવા માટે શબ્દો જ નથી. એ ચહેરો યાદ કરતાં જ અકથ્ય આનન્દનો અનુભવ થાય છે.

જુન 04, 2007. આજે ધ્યાનમાં આજ્ઞાચક્રમાં કૃષ્ણ રંગનાં એક ચક્રનું દર્શન થયું. અદભુત, પ્રકાશીત, ચમકીલો મેઘલ શ્યામ રંગ. હું એની મધ્યમાં રહેલ ગર્તામાં ઉંડો જ ઉતરતો રહ્યો. આ ચક્રનું દર્શન ઘણીવાર ધ્યાનમાં થાય છે.
ઑગસ્ટ 31, 2007. મને સ્વપ્નમાં એક “હાપીલ” (Haapil) નામનાં સ્થળનો નકશો દેખાયો. નકશો જુના પીળા કાગળ પર દોરવામાં આવ્યો હતો. ત્યાર બાદ, એક શહેરનાં મધ્યભાગમાં આવેલ ઘુમ્મટવાળું એક મકાન દેખાયું. એની બાજુમાં રસ્તો હતો અને થોડાં પક્ષીઓ ઉડતાં હતાં. પછી, એ મકાન પર Dr William Razhik એવું લખેલું દેખાયુ. એક ચશ્મા, દાઢીધારી વ્યક્તી દેખાયો. તેણે લામ્બો, કાળો ઓવરકોટ પહેર્યો હતો. તેના હાથમાં ચામડાની એક બૅગ હતી.

સપ્ટેમ્બર 07, 2007. આજે મારા એમ.આર.આઈ. સ્કૅન દરમ્યાન મને એક શાળા દેખાઈ. એમાં યુનીફોર્મ પહેરેલાં બાળકો દેખાયાં. તેમની સાથે એક કોકેશ્યન (ગોરી) સ્ત્રી અને એક બાળક દેખાયાં.
આડવાત. એમ.આર. આઈ. સ્કૅન કરાવવાનું કારણ એ હતું કે, મને ઘણી વાર ધ્યાનમાં સતત ઘંટડીનો રણકાર સમ્ભળાતો હોય છે. મેં ડૉક્ટરની મુલાકાત લીધી અને એમણે ઈ.એન.ટી. સ્પેશ્યાલીસ્ટને રીફર કર્યાં. સ્પેશ્યાલીસ્ટે બધાં ટેસ્ટ કર્યાં અને મને જણાવ્યું કે, કદાચ બ્રેઈન ટ્યુમરને લીધે આવું હોઈ શકે. પણ, એમ.આર.આઈ. સ્કૅનમાં એવું કાંઈ આવ્યું નહીં. એટલે ડૉકટરે કહ્યું કે, જો આ અવાજ કોઈ તકલીફ ના કરતો હોય તો એ તરફ ધ્યાન આપવાનું બન્ધ કરી દો. એવું થવાનું કારણ મગજમાં જ હોઈ શકે, જેનો કોઈ ઉપાય નથી. મને એ વાતની ખાતરી થઈ કે યોગશાસ્ત્ર મુજબ જે સાત નાદની વાત છે, એમાંનો એકાદો નાદ મને સમ્ભળાય છે.

ઑગસ્ટ 01, 2008. હું હમ્મેશા ‘મા’નું ધ્યાન કરું છું. આજે ધ્યાનમાં એકાએક ‘મા’નુ સ્વરુપ દ્વીભુજ ગોપાલમાં પરીવર્તીત થઈ ગયું! બંસીબજૈયા, કૃષ્ણ કનૈયા, ત્રીભંગ. તેમણે પીળું પીતામ્બર પહેર્યું હતું. તેમની પાછળ એક ગાય અડીને ઉભી હતી. સમગ્ર પ્રદેશ સુવર્ણ પ્રકાશથી આચ્છાદીત હતો. અદભુત.

ઑગસ્ટ 23, 2008. આજે સ્વપ્નમાં એક પુરાણુ સ્થળ દેખાયું. એ સ્થળ એક સમ્પુર્ણ લમ્બચોરસ આકારનું હતું. એમાં એક ખુણામાં કાળા કૃષ્ણની મુર્તી હતી. આ મકાન એક રણપ્રદેશમાં આવેલું હતું. એકાએક એ વીસ્તારમાં ભારતીય સૈનીકો અને દુશ્મન સૈનીકો વચ્ચે યુધ્ધ થયું. ભારતીય સૈનીકોમાં એક હું પણ હતો. થોડા ગોળીબાર પછી, બન્ને પક્ષે નક્કી કર્યું કે લડવાને બદલે વૉલીબૉલ રમીએ. અને બધાં આરામથી રમવા લાગ્યાં. રમવાનું પુરું થયા બાદ, હું મન્દીરમાં જઈને કૃષ્ણની પુજા કરવા લાગ્યો અને “રંગીલા શ્રીનાથજી” ગાવા લાગ્યો. હ્રદય આનન્દથી ભરાઈ આવ્યું.

સપ્ટેમ્બર 09, 2008. આજે સ્વપ્નમાં એક અમેરીકન કુટુમ્બ દેખાયું - પતી, પત્ની અને બાળક. પત્નીએ બૉલીવુડ ફીલ્મી ગીતો પર યોગના આસનો કર્યાં અને શીખવાડ્યાં. પતી લગભગ બૅડમીંટનના ખેલાડી - પ્રકાશ પદુકોણ- જેવો દેખાતો હતો.

સપ્ટેમ્બર 13, 2008. દીલ્હીના બોમ્બધડાકાના સમાચાર સામ્ભળ્યાં એના અડધા કલાક પહેલાં જ અર્ધજાગ્રતાવસ્થામાં પ્રલયનું સ્વપ્ન આવ્યું. અગ્ની એશીયામાં ભયંકર ધરતીકમ્પથી બધું હલવા માંડ્યું અને આકાશમાંથી શીલાઓ પડવા લાગી. ભારતમાં મોટા પુરની સ્થીતી ઉભી થઈ. અરેબીયામાં જ્વાળામુખી પર્વત ઉભો થઈ ગયો અને લાવા ઓકવા માંડ્યો. અને સ્વપ્ન પુરું. સાથે હું પણ જાગી ગયો.
ભવીષ્યમાં જ્યારે સ્વપ્ના આવશે ત્યારે ફરી ક્યારેક એ વીશે લખીશ. આપની ટીપ્પણી આવકાર્ય છે.

In what I am going to write, I hope I am wrong but afraid I am right. What if I am right? The sound you are hearing is most likely due to some unidentified disease. Please check with your doctor if you need a ‘Sleep Apnea’ test. Do not give too much importance to Yogshahstra because that may cause you to be complacent about your real physical problem.
As regards the dreams, they may be the result of a self-fulfilling fantasy. You say that you did not understand even a word of the prayer you were reciting in your first dream. Then how do you know it was for Lord Ganesha? The second dream should have been ignored. You did not. You kept on thinking about it. Therefore you got the third dream. You now started thinking about both of them. This led to the third one and so on. What is the spiritual or even physical significance of these dreams? Did they improve your or any one else’s behaviour? Could you save even one life, help a sick person, solve any problem?
I have noticed from your earlier articles and comments, that you are fond of spiritual literature. I read from Aurobindo to Vinoba Bhave to Vivekanand to Zaverchand Meghani (i.e. A to Z). In the end, I realized that the spiritual literature is nothing but a collection of high sounding hollow words. It only helps some people become preachers and lead a comfortable life not unlike Michael Milken in America who start charitable organizations in lieu of legitimate source of income.
Do not be overawed by the ‘greatness’ of the sages. There were only two types. Those who were not rascals were so stupid that they could not see the wickedness of the former and got along with them. For example Vishvamitra was really bad but Vashistha called him Brahmarshi. I do believe in re-birth. God recycles every thing automatically. It is therefore unlikely that Ge would not recycle souls. And yet, there does not have to be any continuity between two births. Therefore I disagree with Shri Jugalkishorbhai that your dreams are in accordance with Gita for the resumption of your spiritual journey left incomplete in your previous birth.
Besides, what is the destination of that journey and how do the dreams help you ‘walk’ it? God does need us to return to physical life and help him. Therefore wanting to achieve Moksha is ungodly.

I read RAJAYOGA three years back and accepted Swami Vivekananda’s challenge to experiemnt with it and then believe it. So, whatever came to me, I have started analyzing and have shared with you all so that you can help me understand my experiences. I am open to both views - affirmation and negation. I also would like to have supportive arguments for views of both the sides.
After practicing RAJAYOGA (which has 8 ANGA ane very very hard to follow) for almost a year, I started hearing the sound in ear. It is like a bell continuosly ringing. When I do meditation, it becomes intense and loud. So, I visited family doctor and he referred me to a specialist who have seen cases of brain tumors and tinutitis or sinutitis. After couple of initial tests, he could not find any cause and started me on some medications. It didn’t help. So, he asked me to get MRI of brain/ear area. The test resulted in nothing. Then, he wanted me to ignore the sound and let me not worry about it.
Yes, the dreams are self-fulfilling fantacies. I didn’t understand a signle word. True. I must add a sentence to that dream that the SHLOKAs started with GANESH VANDANA and ended with GANESHA VANDANAA (OM GAN GANAPATYEI NAMAH). Sorry for missing this information from the text.
The dreams do not seem to be related. In fact, majority of them have good time period passed without any such dream occurred to me. I have habit of documenting my daily history since 1997. If I forget to document on a particular date, I mark it with month and year at least whenever I remember and write. If they are related, that must be a beautyful action of brain which I want to understand. I do not rule out this possibility.
We do many many things which do not help anybody. But, that reason alone does not stop me from experiencing or documenting or sharing at least. But yes, I might be able to solve a problem or riddle so many times told by people of different religions or race.
Yes, religion is like drug habit. It makes you ignorant of many problems daunting human life. But, unless I disprove its effect, I want to experiment with it. I would like to know your spiritual quest.
There is one more type of sages - altruistic personality. What benefit would Swami Vivekananda get by making us following RAJAYOGA? He was not a stupid person. He did not accept without test. He also asked us to do the same. First test the matter and then accept it. Sometimes, if you know the outcome, you cannot ignore source even if it is not visible or realized.
What makes you believe in God and re-birth? I do not see any proof to rebirth. God recycles matter/energy. When my physiology stops working i.e. acidity in blood increases, I am gone and might decompose or be burnt to be part of nature. There is no “I” beyond that. When two distinct organic molecules unite, they started dividing in size and multiplying in numbers. That’s how I came to life. We can at least create such clustering cells (Coacervates) even at home. Life cells are result of compolex evolution over time.
A scientist spends his whole life in quest of a simple truth. In the end, he might die without acheiving results. But, his legacy will help the next to follow.

Yes, we have differences in opinions, but goal! If I am not wrong, you are also in your path to find ultimate truth name God. What I could guess from your articles is that you are like that GNAANA YOGI who says NETI NETI - not this, not this and finds the light in the end! My path is more like TAT TVAMASI - ge is this, ge is that, and I believe words said by old/new truth seekers and try to follow.
Anyway, I would like to point out that God does recycle everything. But, as you can convert matter to energy, but that energy is not completely free from where it came from! That is, energy has some characteristics that original matter passossed. Similarly, mater created from energy carries some characteristics of the type of energy. Unless you go beyond this - the absolute truth, you cannot be spared from carrying some burden of your previous form! That’s universal law. The same thing applies to re-birth as well.
For us, speed of light is absolute. If you travel at 0 speed, for you the speed of light is 300,000km/s. If you travel at the speed of 5000km/hr, it still measures 300,000 km/s for you. If you travel at 99.999% speed of that of light, it still measures 300,000 km/s! When you can travel 100% speed of that of light, you are light! You became absolute. Then you cannot measure speed of light. B’coz, you are light. How light can measure itself. This simple scientific fact is realized by spiritual seekers in a different way. But, that undeniable truth persists all paths and tests.
I usually do not take so much space, but I thought it compelling. Yes, I am more inclined towards spirituality. That’s my nature, my frame of reference.
My thinking -
We are not made of just matter. There is life behind our mortal selves - a throbbing something that activates us.
It as tremendous power - even for things known to us by our five senses.
But there could be much more that we know not, even through sensory perceptions - like many things Helen Keller and the like have -

Dear Shri Chiragbhai,
It is my impression that once a person becomes spiritual, hse aims at achieving moksha. That is why I thought that our goals are different.
Having accepted ‘Ishaavaasyamidam sarvam’ I must forgo any ownership right to the soul that resides in the body currently known as Rashmikant Desai. Therefore, I leave it up to Isha to use that soul as Ge wishes. If Ge wants it to be reused in its entirety in another body, so be it. Ge may also use parts of it in different bodies with or without parts of souls from other bodies. We do not know, cannot know, need no know.
If I love you, I should be willing to keep doing the tasks you ask me to do again and again. I love God. Therefore I am willing to be sent back in different bodies again and again to perform whatever tasks Ge assigns at those times. Therefore I do not want moksha. This is where our goals are different.
I also do not pursue any yoga. May be ‘prajayoga’ is the one of my liking in which we live like obedient subjects of Isha.. I am fully content with whatever God has given me not only in material life but also in spiritual matters.
My observation during 55 years of life after puberty is that the truly spiritual people do not real their spirituality let alone proclaim it. On the other hand, most, if not all, of the ’spiritual’ people try to impress others with their sadhana and or siddhi. I wonder why!

I never expressed my willingness to achieve MOKSHA. I always said that I want to reach the state where I realize God - the absolute truth. I also wrote poems wanting to be at Gis lotus feet eternally and wanting to feel Gis eternal love. Whatever state I am in after that, that’s Gis will.

સંસાર સ્વપ્નતુલ્યો હિ રાગદ્વેષાદિ સંકુલઃ |
સ્વકાલે સત્યવત ભાતિ પ્રબોધે સતિSસત ભવેત ||
આ રાગ દ્વેષના સંકુલ રૂપ સંસાર સ્વપ્ન સમાન જ છે કે જે અજ્ઞાન કાળે સત્ય લાગે છે પરંતુ જ્ઞાન દશામાં અથવા તો સમાધિ અવસ્થામાં અસત એટલે કે તેનું હોવાપણું રહેતું નથી તેવો તેના મુળ કારણમાં લય પામે છે.
ભયાનક, લોભામણા, આકર્ષક કે નિરર્થક કે કોઈ પણ પ્રકારના સ્વપ્નાઓ આપણી અર્ધ જાગ્રત અવસ્થામાં આપણને સાચા જ લાગે છે પણ જ્યારે જાગીએ છીએ ત્યારે તેમાનું કશું હોતું નથી.
જનક રાજાને આવેલ ભયાનક સ્વપ્નના અંતે તે બધાને પુછે છે કે આ સાચું કે તે સાચું? ત્યારે તેનો કોઈ ઉત્તર આપી શકતા નથી. છેવટે અષ્ટાવક્ર મહારાજ કહે છે કે હે જનક આ પણ ખોટું અને તે પણ ખોટું.
તેવી જ રીતે સ્વપ્ન પણ ખોટું અને જાગ્રત પણ ખોટું.
અહિ આ કોમેન્ટ વાચનાર દરેક ને લાગશે કે ભાઈ ઈન્ટરનેટ ઉપર કોમ્પ્યુટર ઉપર ટાઈપ કરેલ તમારી કોમેન્ટ પણ ખોટી અને તમે પણ ખોટા?
તો હા, હું પણ ખોટો અને તમે પણ ખોટા. ખોટા એટલે જેવા દેખાઈએ છીએ તેવા ન હોવું તેનું નામ ખોટું. જે ત્રણે કાળમાં ન હોય તે અસત કહેવાય અને જે ત્રણે કાળમાં હોય તે સત કહેવાય. પરંતુ જે દેખાય, જેમાં વ્યવહાર થાય પણ જોવા જાવ તો જેવું દેખાતું હતુ તેવું રહે નહિ તેને મિથ્યા કહેવાય. તેમ આપણી આ બધી અવસ્થાઓ અને વ્યવહારો ને સુક્ષ્મ રીતે તપાસવા જઈશું તો તેના મૂલમાં તો આ નામ અને રૂપથી રહિત એક માત્ર સતા જ દેખાશે કે જે પહેલા પણ હતી , અત્યારે પણ છે અને પછી પણ રહેશે.
આપને જે ઘંટડીનો અવાજ સંભળાય છે તે નાદનો યોગશાસ્ત્રમાં ઘણો મહિમા છે.શ્રી શંકારાચાર્યજી મહારાજે શ્રીયોગતારાવલી સ્તોત્રમાં કહ્યું છે.
નાદાનુસન્ધાન નમોsસ્તુભ્યં, ત્વાં મન્મહે તત્ત્વપદં લયાનામ્ |
ભવત્પ્રસાદાત્ પવનેન સાકં, વિલીયતે વિષ્ણુપદે મનો મે ||૪|| શ્રીયોગતારાવલિ સ્તોત્ર
હે નાદાનુસંધાન! તને નમસ્કાર કરું છું. અમે એટલે હું અને બીજા યોગીઓ પોતાના મનને બ્રહ્મમાં વિલીન કરવાના ઉપાયોમાં તને સર્વથી શ્રેષ્ઠ માનીએ છીએ. તારા અનુષ્ઠાન વડે થયેલી તારી કૃપાથી મારું અંતઃકરણ પ્રાણવાયુસહિત બ્રહ્મસ્વરૂપમાં એકાગ્ર થઈ અભેદભાવને પામે છે.
બાકી કોઈ નીંદે કે કોઈ પ્રશંસે, આપણે તો આપણી મોજમાં રહેવું.
માનવ ચેતનાનાં કેટકેટલા પરીમાણો આપણે જાણતા જ નથી હોતા.
સ્વપ્ન/ પ્રેરણા કદાચ એવા જ કોઈ પરીમાણની નીશ્પત્તી હોઈ શકે.
